CurtisRider
Righty, Zoots in need of a change of forks and bars, but i'm on a budget Tarty has some 06 controls on sale, are they any good? i really cant afford much, and haven't seen anything better in that price range? not liking that they have rim brake mounts, cos i wont use them(cos im 24) and cos thats where my last forks gave way id rather go new, cos i don't trust secondhand much, as well as needing a full length steerer so i can run some stacker's underneath my stem, i hate my front being so low next, bars...currently got some tired doublewalls (bout 8months old?), with 2.5 rise, i must say, these bars feel perfect, and i'm tempted to go for them again cos crc have them on sale for 25quid now....but, i know they will last bugger all time, is there anything out yet that feels as lush? and comes in a 2.5/3inch rise? no oversized bars please...i cant afford another Thompson stem cheers, paul

CurtisRider
Echo forks are a deffiante go ahead, they are awsome, i have not seen any echo forks brake there........well thats a relief, they looked sound, i just noticed the 07s had a thicker steerer, so feared the 06s may have suffered from steerer failures...thats why i wanted to make sure
Jamie_Neal
Send your double walls back to the importer and they should warrenty them FOC - it does help if you have the receipt but they may do it if you speak nicely to them.Echo forks are good.
