nmt_oli
I would love that if i fitted an alarm, but doesn't work so well on carbed engines with a manual choke!
that NBR dude
I would love that if i fitted an alarm, but doesn't work so well on carbed engines with a manual choke!I dont know, with the right amount of servos and some engineering, I reckon it could be done... Might be a tad overkill though really.
Mr Dave
I dont know, with the right amount of servos and some engineering, I reckon it could be done... Might be a tad overkill though really.lol would prob be easyer to hire someone to go and start your car..You want to remote start a Corsa? How cute.why do you make so many sarcastic comments ?if he wants to do that to his car why does it matter what car it is ? Simon
Because it seems just a tad pointless on a n/a car.Its much the same as having an electronic dump valve, because the car doesn't have a turbo. Really.Meh.
JTM
How do you know simon? It might be a CDTI??And its not pointless at all. If I could be arsed id have this on any car, 5mins before leaving for work warm car up, its freezing at 6am dont you know
Mr Dave
so what if its pointless, its his car he can do what he wants with it. after watching action films your whole life, with cars that do cool things, its perfectly reasonable to want that car, so when, for the first time in your life youve got your own car, you now have the chance to make that car do those cool things?Id say it was pointless tryin to turn a run of the mill 306 into a gti6, but as you say....meh
fathopper
Knight Rider style I like it wonder if you could get one to start my sherpa campervan, be awsome
Simon
Just as well i'm not turning a run of the mill 306 into a gti6 then, isn't it.It may be a turbo lump, then, as i've already said, the remote start he wants has a point. Gavyn.
quite useful on a freezing cold morning when you have to run out and start the car to clear some ice. http://www.cliffordalarm.co.uk/
Fish-Finger-er
Just as well i'm not turning a run of the mill 306 into a gti6 then, isn't it.It may be a turbo lump, then, as i've already said, the remote start he wants has a point.surely remote start has a point anyway, to warm your car up before you get in it, id love to have my alarm on me phone go off, minus 8 outside, go to me bedroom window in me boxers, fire me car up. go get dressed, get me lunchbox, wallet, etc, open any important looking mail. and go jump in a nice warm toasty car. as for the remote start, its rather easy to wire, compared to the alarm itself, from what i found at least. however. the alarms you tend to get them on,unless a proffessionally installed clifford, tend to very tempermental and crappy, and non insurance improved. Simon
No one but a trained and proven clifford engineer can install clifford alarms. If just anyone installs it, it wont class on your insurance, secondly, every single wire is the same colour.
