wayn3
will the brake mounts being on the underneath not make it have less breaking power?? Because it will be pulling away from the frame. Edited February 5, 2007 by wayn3

Because it will be pulling away from the frame.the brake being on the underneath make a strong power.because push power is bigger then pull power.Effectively prevent the wheels reverse turning. Ash-Kennard
basically its better backwards than forwards, which is what you want
Luke Rainbird
Depending on what occurs most due to the individual rider's style of riding though I suppose

ted
Love it.Liking the new echo brake with clear hosing you see the brake on my bike.its not a ECHO or a ZHI brake,it's a new brand in China--DOB.

ZHI_Chris
I very much agree with your point of view. And the design was not only avoid to damage brake, but also make bike's barycenter lower. The bike looks more succinctness. RobinJI
Exactly all the same reasons I put my mounts on the underside of my frame, breaks lush, even without a grind or booster.

_skj0lsvik_
Yeah, I'd imagine that a TI frame is very neat and flexy(in a good way)...That bike looks good, how's the rear brake working for you?
GyTrials
any chance you could post some closer pics of that tensioner he made?Steve
Greetings
Looks great, the welds are a bit tatty though. Also the brake mount is a good idea, I'm sure it's so much more powerful than the traditional mounting. It must be a pain in the arse to set up though
