Its obvious theyve spent a fair wedge of money on it. I know in all likelyhood you didnt do any damage, but its also obvious that if anyone from the corporation who looks after that site sees it, they wont be impressed. If you were a kid, I'd ask you to consider that When you grow up, get a trade and put some soul into the work you do, you'll understand how much it pisses you off to see your work abused. In Portsmouth 100s of riders ride over the old ruins on the seatfront and no1 has anything to say then. As for Reading with the old ruins in the park there... same story. Krisboats Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 I don't think its a case of "grannies nagging", its the fact that the place looks to have had a roof built over it, lights installed, barriers to stop the public going on it and information boards plastered everywhere. It looks like the outside of a museum, not some random old sea defenses. If someones so concerned they stuck a roof over it they sure as hell aren't going to be wanting people riding on them. Its not a case of nagging, its showing dislike to such utter disregard/concern and total disrespect.Fair enough they might be really good lines, but from what we can see in the pictures its the kind of place that you just shouldn't ride in.The car situation, fair do's what you do to your mums mates banger is up to you, no worries there. But i think if they were that important you wouldn't be able to get in there?Car was Ok to ride because it was failing MOT but i dont think the dent came from their bikes. None of their bikes have red?i think people were being harsh concidering they didnt see "the bigger picture". The dent is where they've missed it and gone to bash or what ever and scraped the paint away as well as denting it?!Decent pics to be honest. It what sets us aside from places like America.I don't really wont to become part of a huge argument, you may have learned from your mistakes now, I'm just expressing my opinion and i think its wrong to have the POTENTIAL to ruin something that will never be recreated.Thanks. Castle, designed to withstand enemy attacks etc. This looks like an excavation site thats been dug up and then shielded from the elements... like rain.
