.mitch
i used double cages for years. they were ok, once you wear out the cages on your front foot just swap it with the backfoot and you can get a fair bit of life out of themi used the DMR pedals for a while too but i found there wasn't enough surface area.. like they have no "corners".using the Wellgo magnesiums at the moment. very light and grippy! just don't let it catch your shin... i'd recommend them. otherwise doublecage
PaRtZ
why are you up this time of day V8's or the V8 copies by dmr and wellgo respectively

montyrider07
dmr v8's all the way, i have lost a few pins here and there but they are still gripping and the pins can be replaced so v8's in my opinion.
paolo
Odyssey JimC, best pedals ever. Awsome grip, doesn't eat your shins, lighter than v8 [magnesium version is even ligher], same price as the v8s at most shops. dooeyridestrials
I would say go for VP double cage, can be found on tartybikes for £12. Really grippy but hurt like F**k if u slip and they dig into your shins.
