Pins. Cage pedals are f**king shit, the bearings last about a month, the cages last about a week and the bolt threads last about a day. Not worth shit...

Get some half-decent platform pedals and you'll be laughing :) .

Cheers,

Joe.

I've got some DMR V8's... nice and grippy and come with a small grub screw which you can remove and inject grease into the bearings (Y)

Only about £22 as well so they wont hurt your wallet too bad! And they come in different colours if you like the kind of thing

Pins by the way!

DMR V8s or V12s ideally...

But I've got a pair of the Wellgo V12 copies that seem to be OK. I've snapped a bit off the back end of one of them, but it barely makes a difference, and it was a SERIOUSLY bad 'up' that did it. The DMR stuff has an extra bit of metal there that will stop this happening though. I think I've also bent one of the shafts, but it could be my poo crank that's bent, haven't bothered to find out.

Having said that, I found that the DMR grub screw pins get fooked well easily, where as the Wellgo screw pins seem to last longer (but aren't quite as grippy - good for bailing, yet just grippy enough for riding).

The gist of it being: if you bash the hell outta yer pedals, get DMR; if either a) you're on a budget or B) you bail a lot, get Wellgo. You can get the V12 copies for the same price as the official V8s.

DMR V8's Or if you're really tight with money get the V8 copies by wellgo

Nah, REAL V8s all the way! I 've had both and the wellagos just fell apart, there is barely any material left on the body.

Whereas the V8s are still there, well they are actually on my scott until the cash for the Zona comes in.

revell pedals, mine are 3 years old, battered to f**k, not evenm black anymore, i havent lost one pin, the bearings are really good too, seriously, they are the best, nothing even comes close. £45 is nothing for a set of pedals which are going to last...

V8's are perfect fro trials! - Must be your skill level to go through 2 sets of pedels in a week! Must be an old skool rider using the bash plate on anything if that's the case!

Had the same pair of V8's for ages, only 1 or 2 pins missing but they're still running fine! deffo the best pedels to get, don't buy them if you're a noob and can't do anything because the pins will come out! - If you ride fine and never hit the pedels these are the best ones.

Keep your feet in place, look cool and easy to jump off if you need to...

Bit crap.... loose your footing put your foot back on the pedal the other way an have no grip....

trials riders dont do the whole pedal grinding malarkay

the weight of the grind plate means thet always land pins up. crap pedals though, the bearings are shocking!

Easton Flatboys if you can afford them or Gusset Slim Jims if you can't :)

ummm well you never hit the pedals on walls and stuff then you could run anything!! if you dont hit it aint gonna break! u could use plastic pedals as long as you dont hit them. lol
