Hey all, this should just be a quickie...

Its my dads birthday tomorrow and my step mum has bought him an iPod, and so i wont to put all my songs onto his computer(he has a mac. i have windows). Is there an easy way to send, i.e something i can download to send 200 odd song files in one go, or am i going to have to use the memory can and put 20songs or whatever on at a time?

Thankyou very much in advance.

well if theyre networked you can transfer tham that way, other wise, burn them on to a disk or use a large data stick, does he really want all the music files on both your pc, his mac and the ipod?

I want to get my songs from my windows onto his mac (as a semi suprise) so that tomorrow when he gets his new iPod he can put all the songs from his mac onto it.

But i have quite a few songs and the old msn 3 items at a time is just a pain in the arse and i cba to do the memory card thing, so is there anyway of sending the songs from my windows to my dads mac through some sort of file sender or somthing?

Cheers Rorz

EDIT:

Networked? I am on the same network as him(wifi)? is that what you mean?

Also if all else fales i spose i could but the songs on a disk.

Cheers, Rorz

If you set up file sharing on the windows PC, you should be able to access it really easily from the mac and then it's just a case of drag + drop all your files.

But if you're crap with computers then file sharing ain't the easiest thing to set up. There are plenty of tutorials about though - google.
