Waynio...........................EDIT: just a quikkie, how did you get the full list of names? on my sheet/invitation thing it only has my name? if that is the CORRECT list i could do with using it. thats all. Also wasnt there only 10/12 spaces? theres 14 names down? is there 2 reserves? or 4? Edited February 2, 2007 by Waynio

Waynio
i seem to remeber at koxx days dave you received AUTOMATIC team selection could someone please put up if THAT is the correct list i know for sure my name will be on it for certain as i have received a letter yesterday. i just need to know so that i can commit it somewhere. there is 14 names and im sure when applying it said only 12 would be selected but that may have been 10 i cant fully remember.Cheers.Waynio..........................EDIT: Joe to answer your question, the team selection was done @ Manchester so yes it was selected up north, but it went on last years BIU and UCI results, like me and Ali C did not compete @ UCI events but finished 3rd and 4th at BIU world champs. Ghetto Rider
Are the team selectors all northern??theres like 4 southerners on the list Shame isn't it!? - I think because up north it's more densely populated meaning more buildings, structures and they try to make the area's look nice! i will emphasise the try...... lol..... meaning more benches, bin, flower pots..... etc..... you get the picture.... David20
WTF, can anyone not just enter? or do you have to be part of the British team? Very annoying that a massive UCI event is like an hour away from me and I can't even enter Good luck to Duncan though And all of the Brits that take part! rugbyman
So how did a world top 20 UCI rider get left off the list?perhaps he's not as good as those selected
the organiser
perhaps he's not as good as those selected In this event a top 20 ranked ride should be selected before any biu rider Robert Poyser as moved forword in his riding in the last 12 months making 3 i think of the 5 world cup semi he was 25th and 26th in the uci worlds in 2005 in the 20 and 26 classes and i dont think you can safley say that all of the above names can better thatany way how and who picked this team ??? Badboy
perhaps he's not as good as those selected He is a UK master rider. And has a wealth of UCI experience. In this event a top 20 ranked ride should be selected before any biu rider Robert Poyser as moved forword in his riding in the last 12 months making 3 i think of the 5 world cup semis he was 25th and 26th in the uci worlds in 2005 in the 20 and 26 classes and i dont think you can safely say that all of the above names can better thatany way how and who picked this team ????? Waynio
Me i picked them out of a hat.only kididng, i need to know if that list is 100% truth? for something. if poss, i dont want a frigging arguement over something and bloody nothing. this is why trials has a divide. can someone please confirm that that list is 100% truth and is the source who got hold of the list reliable to trust on the info? as it said 12 riders or summit will be selected and on that list is 14. if someone could confirm that for me, i would be much appreciated.if you go on UCI experience about 4 people of that list would be on there. which makes it in adequte for the people who would like to "try" the event and maybe do other UCI events? i dont feel it needs a conflict, if anything didnt Mr Roger Wilbraham have a list of riders with their achievements in 2006 and picked from that list? as his name is on my "invite" but god knows, i got the letter filled it in sent it off.Waynio............................ oakley
perhaps he's not as good as those selected thats the thing lol, he is. and he has more experience than 90% of the people on that list!and im not just saying only UCI experienced riders to ride, but surely they should be picked first??Rob is an amazing rider. And atleast he knows the level.I personally think that alot of the people on that list are going to be in for a big shock when they notice the level compared with biu.
