You'll really feel the difference after you've had the eno for a while then go on someone else's, it feels like every other freewheel is made of wood and has about 4 engagements, get the eno boi !Joel

JoNnY__Mc
I have ran an eno for a good year now, very recomendable and well worth the money, the monty freewheels havent really bin around that long so haven't built up a reputation as good the eno's but still seem good for the money.Abit of comparing:eno has 6 pawls - monty has 4both have 72 e.psmontys removal method ensures a shorter bb can be usedthe monty's bearing locking is also situated against the crank arm to keep it from coming loosethe eno's lockring is on the other side (can be removed so the freewheel can be easily serviced when the cranks are taken off)although i have cross threaded a few lockrings, all parts are replaceable inside the eno and are readily available on tarty bikes ?both have fully sealed bearings?the monty freewheel is almost half the price????the monty freewheel weighs 20grams lessOther options:the tryall freewheel and the echo freewheel when it comes outHave you not had a look on tarybikes? I would go for the eno it can also be found on ebay for £60 (bargain) Edited February 1, 2007 by JoNnY__Mc

Walleee
the try-all and monty are essentially the same freewheel, juse the monty has less engagements. Neither of them have sealed bearings, and their construction seems to be smiliar to an ACS. The ENO on the other hand does have sealed bearings, has a MUCH more beefy outer ring and generally is of better build quality. If you can get an eno for the same money as a monty, go for the eno, take it apart clean it up and you'll have a much better freewheel than the monty.I don't really know why people even try and compare eno's to the monty and try-all, they are just totally differant freewheels, part of another league.....I could see people comparing the new echo freewheel and eno, as they are essentially the same thing, just differant removal methods....
