Well Ryan Leech? theres nothing really to say because his riding tells you what he is about him, he flowing, great rider, not afraid to go big, uses a MB to make trials look easy(which is hard to do) and most of all Ryan is a great and down to earth guy, who knows what he is doing and knows what riding is all about!!!one of the main things he has done is to get trials notice, and he is helping push trials in to big aspects and get more people in to the sport!!Johny Edited February 1, 2007 by JohnyTrials
Blommah
He`s a wicked trialsrider, as said down to earth and doing the best to push the sport forward. Also doing a lot to get publicity to the sport, i think he`s great.
Danny@phatworks
I think the thing about Ryan Leech is that he has a different view about trials riding; seeing riding a bike over obstacles as an 'art form'. As his riding is just creativity and imagination of what he can do on a trials bike and in how many different ways/styles/techniques. Now days with trials majority of riders are just throwing themselves at the highest/biggest/craziest things they can find which is fantastic, but when you see a rider like Ryan Leech who is riding things in a variety of ways and style i.e. manifesto, it does make them stand out.But I have always been a Ryan Leech fan ever since I brought the revolution video. Ghetto Rider
Ryan Leech is in a class of his own! - He is awesome, one of the main reasons why i started trials. He does have his own style which is so hard to copy it's just impossible....When you ride with UK riders you won't get his style unless you do street then change to trials and try to mix it up...Ryan Leech = Leg-End!!! Clawz114
Shame he has a partner... But really, he is the main reason why i got into trials properly, after getting manifesto and then shortly afterwards getting mastering the art of trials. He is definitely my favorite rider, just because of his unique style. Sometimes big things, sometimes small things but you can almost guarantee that he will add something small in which will make him stand out from the crowd... awesome rider

Rusevelt
not as good as akriggRyan is ace though ...Leech not as good as Akrigg! i think you will find that leech, is equal to akrigg on bike skill, and more so with his balance lines (his railing to chain to railing line segment in The Collective vid, and his insane purpose built north shore segment in Kranked5). Akrigg has an aggressive moto-style which is awesome to witness him attack stuff at speed. lets not forget that leech rides a bike that weighs a ton in modern trials terms (i know, i picked it up when leech was at 2006 Cycle Show. 28-29lbs i reckon). all those years of riding that thing and with 49-50in sidehops under his belt, id hate to think what he could do on a competition trials rig! I also think he is an amazing rider, who has done loads for the sport, expecially in the USA and Canada...but just the imaginion and style of akrigg, just takes him a notch higher imo! fruitbat
he pretty much made trials, Sorry but i dont agree with that comment, he is VERY good but the people who 'made' trials are the likes of Ashton, Ot Pi, and Hans 'Pony Tail' Rey.I do love Leech's style. so fluid like and smooth and not afraid to go big but on the note of Akrigg, he does it more for me, his 'attacking' style and approaching things from a differnt angle is what its all about. Not just doing a simple gap, or side hop but doing it with a little flare.I dont think there is such a thing as a 'best' trial rider ever as every rider has a differnt style and does things their own, unique way. Ben Cox
im not feeling leeches style (or lack of) most of it is rolling streety stuff, very rarely have i seen him do anything vaguely trialsy, i mean rolling along and 180ing off of a kerb/curb isnt trials so in my eyes hes barely a trials rider
