Hopping Issue

I don't know if any of you guys have tried hopping on your bikes... where you slam the front brakes on, and bring the back round, then back brakes on, and bring the front around....

I was starting to get very good on a stock standard mountain bike, untill the brakes gave out, and I had them replaced. They look nice and tight with enough feel, but they seem to slack when I try and brake! The hop was my best trick, well, ONLY trick!

Any ideas on what I can do to get my brakes good again !?

Hiya

Have you tried grinding your rim then using pads designed for grinded rims!? or perhaps using a bit of tar??

Or perhaps you should try and set up the brakes again and see if they any better or worse??
