BONGO
is this where people begin the impossible task of judging a bike that doesn't fit into the usual categories, when they haven't picked it up or ridden it???
D4T
Anyone riden one? i'm intrequed by this pile of s**te
Sketchy
As if trials riders dont look stupid enough on "standard" trails bikes. Oh the mockery..the shame.
Endohopper
I was gonna call Photoshop on this one , yet it seems genuine . I cannot see any advantage to be had from this configuration though .
D4T
is this where people begin the impossible task of judging a bike that doesn't fit into the usual categories, when they haven't picked it up or ridden it??? Seems that way, its human nature my friend. This is exactly why small communities are isolated and racism exists, we like to point and laugh at things that are different, why do you think people mock retards? don't spoil our fun
Adrian
are mate!!! im gonna give it a try, all you have to do is put 26" forks and front wheel in a 20" frame, its not exactly like its an invention. one of the koxx guys probs put the wrong forks in his 20" and thought hang on, this could be funny. its basically just a monsterboy with 26" forks and front wheel. im gonna do it to my GU, ill try and get pics...lol
Up'n'away
Ive Already Tried it and its funny, but not fun really. You underestimate how low the front wheel is and can f**k up pretty bad, although once you get that sorted Taps are fooken mint on it! Village Idiot
Is this actually a proper bike (like designed to take a 20" rear wheel and 26" front) or just a mod with a 26" wheel and forks?
Greetings
are mate!!! im gonna give it a try, all you have to do is put 26" forks and front wheel in a 20" frameI think the geometry of the Demonboy is designed to "suit" this setup. The bb is rather high and the wheelbase seems long, so do the chainstays. If you put a large wheel into a mod, the position would be all wrong. Janson
i tried to built a 20" back 24" front bike once. it was back when i did not own a trials bike and was just about to start.ended up welding some vee bosses on to the 20" fork... spode@thinkbikes
I would have thought it would have been a bit like ridding a mod, but with the benefit of better taps?
fathopper
Well for those who cant decide which wheel size to go for this would be a good one lol, what the hell thats just not right have one size or the other not both thats just greedy
Token
I would have thought it would have been a bit like ridding a mod, but with the benefit of better taps? He's got a point! However it'll never take off, us guys get pretty pissed off when someone says "you've lost your seat mate" let alone having them tell us our wheels are different sizes. That and you'd look like a complete bell riding one.
omgnoseat
I knew that koxx had made this, but i thought that it was just an experiment or something..i really want to see some footage of that, hope they will get something up soon
Krisboats
When i tried this with a bmx i found that due to having the front end a lot higher the balance point was crap. I mean REALLY crap. normal balance point on the back wheel was with the front wheel only a few inches off the floor.
