Yep, that's true. My mate deals in Zhi and also got some broken frames in the shipment but if you buy a flawless frame it should last you quite long.

On the other hand we both know that you won't be riding it longer than a month so quality shouldn't be an issue for you :P

hahahaha :olol

Yeah you right man... i change bike more often than my underwear....

The Zhi frames are made in the same factory as anything Deng makes..

They use the same type of aluminum, same construction procedures etc..

There's always going to be a few shoddy ones that break, it is the same for any brand.

Its probably just coincidence with the break rate of the ones from that shop.

My brother is the Australian dealer of them and every frame he's had through him has been good condition.

He's sold quite a few and theres been no reported breakages.

So yeh dont just jump to conclusions about a brand, im sure many Deng frames have broken, but the majority of his stuff are all good.

The geo may be the same, but the quality is better on the ZOO!

Imported a number of ZHIs (various models) here in North America, no breakages. Have not heard of any rash of breaks anywhere else. Only explanation (though this is a "friend of a friend" story) is that something happened to them in one shipment. As the quality as been on par with anything else.

I hesitate when it come to using the word "lies", but that is what is written above. Only two online shops sell ZHI in the U.K. No frames have broken. No shop would have given a customer such condemning false information.

Contradict me with some facts.
