addicted
HiI found myself in this situation...I can get Alibongo from CRC for 265 euros(185 gbp) or i can get echo pure(new) for around 220 euros(150 gbp).I probably cant go wrong between those two, but its still tuff decison. Now, if the prices were the same, what frame would you chose? The biggest diference betwen those(as i can se :$ ) is that Alibongo has a seat and v-mounts.What do you think? addicted
The seat thing doesent make a diference to me.What about strenght?
Ash-Kennard
they have both been known to snap so that isnt really an issue, but as the pures have been removed from production and the alibongos havent, i would say the planet-x is stronger Edited January 30, 2007 by ash-kennard

Krisboats
i really dont see how can you say, that because the pure is out of production it is weaker the Alibongo?Correct me if im wrong, but i think that Alibongo(its the same as Tibo) is older than pure 06Its age doesnt determine its strength, least not within a couple of years anyway. And to say its weaker because its out of production... well why do you think its out of production? Because it was flawed and kept braking So when ash says the alibongo is stronger is because yes they might well snap, but there isn't a design mistake that has caused them all to snap, unlike the pure.I think the old echo pures were pretty tough though weren't they? addicted
I was not trying to say, that because it is older model, it is weaker...But i did not know, that 06pure is known to be a crapy bike.
