Probably would be a good idea to put something on there, Levelbosses seem to dent like a b*****d on the chain-stays, or most places really. As you said though, its expected with a bike that light. Zip tie a piece of something tough on, basically all it takes, tyre, hose pipe, plastic, whatever.

Let's just calm down a bit, if he is smacking his chainstay on a wall he needs something more durable than a peice of neoprene! I have used tyres on my scott, even your chain rips through neoprene after a while, whereas the tyre has also stopped all the paint chipping off.

well i used to use that fake wooden floor stuff you get with a sticky bottom. stick it to where ever and put a load of tape over it and it protects it realy well. if not then an old belt?? for my down tube i used to nick rulers from school the sew neopreme around them so that when the ruler eventualy snapped i cpuld take it out and put a new one in.. lol..... just get something hard and tape it to your frame with shit loads of tape and itll work.

lol a ruler! a plastic 30cm ruler? thats brilliant!lol

if your bothered about hitting your downtube, armidillo does the trick perfect.

koxx levelbosses are renowned for cracking at the chainstay weld so get protection on it quick! something think!

Alternatively put your left pedal down before your frame hits the wall, simple
