Captain Scarlet
Well I was just out riding this evening, and remembered something that a mate showed me a while back before I had learnt any trials.Basically whilst rolling at a walking pace, I do a 180 endo, as soon as my back wheel contacts the floor I then immediately throw into a regular 180, then landing to continue rolling.I know this kind of trick has been done before, but I just wanted to know if it had an actual name, rather than explaining what the trick is to people. Thanks,
omgnoseat
it might just be called 360, or 180 to fakie 180 or something..not sure if it has a real namebut i would like to know aswell

Ali C
ROCKWALK!! ooooold skool
Captain Scarlet
But its not exactly a rockwalk, because when the back wheel touches down after the endo, I lead it into a 180 so both wheels come off the floor. Not a pivot.Ah well lol.
Ali C
still a rockwalk in my eyes
Fixed Pantsâ„¢
I can do these! oh my god!But it's more of a 300 as i can't pull the complete 180 after the first 180...Thought it was just a cheating 360? Not a pivot.Ah well lol.I can't believe how pedantic that is, from what I read, you think it's not a 'rockwalk' if both wheels are off the ground at any time during the move?It is still called a rockwalk IMO, when hans rey does it in trick's and stunts his back wheel lift's off the ground on the second half of the rotation, it's just a case of how low your pressure's are on the tyres and how grippy the ground is. I can do it in one fluid motion without a hop in the wet on smooth ground, in the dry on concrete I tend to need a hop to get the bike right round. Tomm
It's a 180 endo to half cab. Going backwards + 180 to going forwards = half cab. Or it would be if you were BMXing, anyway.
GTF
Have seen this once.. Does somebody have a vid that shows the trick?

Fixed Pantsâ„¢
Yeah, that's the equivilent of mine...If i try to get the bike more upright to spin easier i normally just fall off.Practice will sort that out though.

I can see why phil feeney likes all his spinny shit cos it feels pretty cool spinning around on the balance point, all you have to do is give the turn some beans and stop yourself making the hop, you will get round eventually. Badboy
When you get this trick dialled, then take it to the next step ala Rich Johnson! From the 180 endo into a full 360 rear wheel spin! No idea if there is a name for that though.

eskimo
it only really counts as a half-cab if you're rolling when you do the hop. static=cheatingI was just about to say that. But when some people do rockwalks they put a hop in 'cause they can't get round all the way on the back wheel. So even if you were to hop 180 you are ideally cheating the rockwalk and doing it the easier way.Now go try 5 in a row without letting go of either of your brakes.
