But some people believe scientist are talking a load of rubbish, others believe it is happening.

Has nothing to do with god or anything spiritual.

It is very scary and it just shows you how unprepared the uk is for storm like weather. I had sooo much fun riding in to work this morning then during my lunch I said to my boss it sounds like the roof is being ripped apart and to our very horror :

They had to close the promenade off by here as the whole sheet at one point had come off and flew down the road narrowly missing people, and I was in the snooker hall tonight and some man has said the 'sun centre' which is the building attatched to ours has had the roof blown off :o.

RIP to all those people who died. We shouldnt be provoking the weather to get any worse with out emissions..

Are you all forgetting that it's not like it's the first time we've had high winds? There's always been high winds, recorded throughout history. It's nothing new? It's not even like they're any more frequent now...

One of the dead people may have been a 3-year-old girl in Southampton. I'm staying with my brother, and one of his housemates is doing med training, and a 3-year-old girl was brought in with two smashed legs and a lot of other injuries as a result of getting crushed by a tree. She was fading in and out of consciousness, and he didn't think she was going to make it, so I wouldn't be too surprised.
