Christophe'
i love mbuk too! i bought the first ever issuestill love it, but basicaly the magazine should not have negative things about two wheeled activitiesits all goodim a dirty roadie( takes it up the B*M ) , 24 rider, xc ridercant be assed if u ride a bike u should be included in one big gang.if u cant handle watching something that u know u cant do, dont watch.being a very avid xc rider, it so annoys me reading letters from C**ts that have obviously bought their way into a middle aged sport like xc , then continue to slag off a very exciting sport like trialsfor examplein the afan forest carpark, some middle aged idiots with a gay beemer. decide to take the piss cause we can do a wheelie? and basicaly they cant ! ?believe me there is a lot of bullshit in all forms of cycling!Have to say road cycling has the least bullshit.argh
PaRtZ
im a dirty roadieas a roadie then, can I ask why i saw another roadie cycle on the road, yet the cycle path, (a marked out section of the pavement SPECIFICALLY for cyclists to use) was but two feet to his left? Christophe'
as a roadie then, can I ask why i saw another roadie cycle on the road, yet the cycle path, (a marked out section of the pavement SPECIFICALLY for cyclists to use) was but two feet to his left?Er because, a cycle doesnt legaly have to ride in designated cycle lanes.I live in a relatively un -urbun area. i never use the cycle lanes..Mainly cause i can keep up with the traffic just fine.depends where u live i guess? in salisbury no one gets stressed.if they do it doesnt end up being a drama.chris

Tomm
as a roadie then, can I ask why i saw another roadie cycle on the road, yet the cycle path, (a marked out section of the pavement SPECIFICALLY for cyclists to use) was but two feet to his left?I do that, much to the dismay of the manchester bus drivers. That's probably the main reason, but it's also quicker, you don't get people walking in the road (people think bike paths are pavements) and it's smoother. Plus you can slip stream cars and buses
