B.E.A.U
just looked on the sight is there no way you can drill it etc to fit fun bolts on king hubs
AdamR28
Yep, you can - just needs a 12mm hole instead of the 10mm currently on there. Obviously I can't be seen to recommend that but I see no reason why it wouldn't work!
ben_travis
Ordered mine this morning, looks like a suberb design. be interested to see how well it withstands abuse.kingz products seem to be very good quality, and this design is what trials has been looking for IMO

Ash-Kennard
gay, just bought a rolhof, havent they basically nicked bigmans idea?
AdamR28
havent they basically nicked bigmans idea?I think it's just coincidence - the 74Kingz has been in testing for at least 3-4 months now, so designs would have been done at least 6 months ago I reckon. dantrials
After most of deng's products this has to be the nastiest thing I have ever seen. Isn't it just an expensive verion of the "spoon" style tensioner ? It looks like it has a fair range of adjustment I suppose but then again so does a spoon... Dan6061
Wouldn't that be mental noisy with a kmc kool chain? - by the looks of it, it's just a plastic sheet..thing, being pressed onto the chain?Unless it's just the angle, and there's a roller in there? This looks about the best thing yet for us rightie sidehoppers.£30 is a bit steep mind...
Monty_Kid
looks like a great idea, looks slightly flimsy - if it is hit it looks like it could snap still getting one though no more mech hangers being snapped and more freedom in sidehopping...........cheers lewis
Chris
I wonder if the chain could jump out of that plastic runner? Maybe they should have made the inner part a little deeper, so that the plastic runner kind of wraps around the chain and holds it in place... But maybe it's just fine that way... Inspired Dave
I wonder if the chain could jump out of that plastic runner? Maybe they should have made the inner part a little deeper, so that the plastic runner kind of wraps around the chain and holds it in place... But maybe it's just fine that way...The amount of tension you can get from these things is pretty serious, making it all the harder to move the chain side to side at all. You'd have to be doing something rather impressive to get the chain to come off the runner without actually hitting it off somehow.
wally
I got mine in the post from Tarty today, ive been waiting ages for someone to bring out a simple tensioner like this. Im very impressed with it, its easy to install, lightweight, and you can see it adjusting the tension of the chain all the time, and therefore keeping it tensioned at all times. Whereas with my previous fixed tensioner, my chain was tight on one half of the turn, and loose on the other. The tension is quite tight and i cant see there being any way of the chain falling of the side. Edited January 20, 2007 by wally
ogre
i should be buying one in the next week or two to see if it'll fit my dirty mod if it don't any stock riders want to get first dibs now?
