CBProductions
hey everyone currently my bearings in the bike trial hub I have are slightly worn. I would like to now if there is a place where I can get them or if anyone knows the size ? Also a method for replacing them ?It is a friend who is doing the work and he mentioned something about the cassette being difficult to remove because one is steel and another bit is alloy or vice versa and its digging in. So if anyone could shed some light on this matter that would be great Cheers
huge
The steel cassette has dug in to the alloy driveshell quite a distance, maybe 7/8mm and will not budge. Any ideas ?Also it is a BT fixed rear hub

craigjames
if they are sealed cartridge bearings then have a look at the betd website, if you can find out the size then they shold either stock them or be able to ge them.if the cassette has moved that much on the freehub body then the freehub body may not be usable once you get the cassette off. thatsa long way for the cassette to move and dig in without causing a lot of damage to it.maybe new hub time
Jamie_Neal
The way they used to do it in the bike shop I worked in was by using the sockets out of a socket set to knock them out and then go to a local bearing supplier - try the phone book. They can usually sort you out and they are usually a load cheaper.Cheers,Jamie
GTF
It is a BT hub, right? Send BT a mail and ask them if they got bearings, etc
