mattegg
hi i just have bought full set of echo wheels from tartybikes. with the 07 rims and the echo hubs. However i came to put them on to my t pro and found out that my chain was to long and therefore my snail cams would not tighten it enough. so i took a link but then it became to tight. im goin to get a new chain neway. but please may you leave comment s on how to sort out this problem as i have no idea on how to do this. picyures wud be very grateful as it makes it easier to understand. thanks matt:)
Jonnyb92
That's strange as T-Pros have a lot of adjustment, maybe your chain has stretched, but if your using the same cassette I can't see how a new pair of wheels will affect it.let me know what you think,Jon

RobinJI
What gearing are you running? 18-12?
mattegg
yeah 18-12 anyone no how to sort this out
RobinJI
Seems weird, I'd have thought a new chain's the best bet. Failing that though you could just use washers instead of the snail cams and use your old chain tugs.
Ollie Y
buy bmx chain tugs and run them on the inside as the washers, that should do the job!ollie

Mr-BT
my mate has the same problem with his zoo hub which is pretty much the same as the echo and the snail cams that come with are rubbish. he is going to buy a new pair of snail cams and see if the promblem is any betteri will post again if it has been sortednick
Conor the basher.
Right i think its becuase the snail cams what come with the hub are to small there a lot smaller than normal ones try buying some new ones ..
bhups
I had this problem, its just that the echo snail cams are to small so try buying some new bigger ones and fitting them one like zhi or whatever.
powerz
I had this problem with my GU hub which is basicaly the same as the echo hub, the snail cams that came with it have a small outer diameter so there isn't enough adjustment on them. Luckily i had my old snail cams which have a larger diameter (I dont understand how the snail cams that you get with the Echo, zoo,GU,adamant ect, are ment to work as i bought a gu hub for a gu frame and i have standard ratio yet they are too small).
