Ash-Kennard
do you mean 1 pallet to 1 pallet or just on the ground? as i can get over 10ft on the ground, but realistically 8.7 on ye old pallets
Joe_Elding
Ash Kennard and his crew are all far to good at gaps to front. I can manage about seven foot flat to flat, I can't really commit that well unless its going up a bit though, dunno why...
Ali C
on a good day between pallets, 8.5 maybe just under 9 if I had some haribo. When you get them right, they feel soooo good!Ash, how do you go bigger on the flat rather than between two things? I cant get any "pop" off the edge then. guineasmithpig
i was just gettin into gaps to front wheel before packing it in for a bit last year. biggest ever was at reading, but was never measured, so i dunnofondest memory was tarty doing one in mansfield (i think) and his drilled 321 wheel collapsing. laughed quite a bit that day!only tips i'd give is really beast your weight over the front (takes a bit of bottle) and punch the front end into/onto the object your aiming for, as you would with your feet and the back wheel. just look at what you wanna aim for, and concentrate on shoving your front wheel at it. as long as your front wheel lands on it, it don't matter if you step off or whatever. its when you bottle it and land on your down tube or (worst) headtube that it hurts!smithy
eskimo
1 foot in front of my bike length. YES! I don't trust myself at all going from back to front. Hopping up walls to front is a different matter though.

Ross Gardner
I have just really started to get the hang of them now. I am managing to do about 7ft flat to flat, going up feels so much better though. I have figured out to get steeper on the take off and kick right from the edge to get the distance. Gavyn.
nailed 8 from a pallet to a curb just an hour ago, I wouldn't want to try it over a proper gap though.
Greetings
Did just over 8ft on a 18:18 gear ratio, haven't tried going further after changing to 17T rear. I don't have the strength to lock the front wheel and do a wheelswap so I gap without using the front brake.
