Right then im in the middle of making beau zoo vud 3:)

But im not sure what to film at all anymore.

I dont know whats good or whats not good. E.G. sidehops i do them they are hard to me i usualy do 40 maybe a tad more but i dont know weather i should film it or not or the same with taps.

I do some that feel high and good but i want a video to be really good this time and not have some clips just to take up the space like i did in other vids. I want it to show im pushing my self otehr wise i sit and watch it and makes me feel shit.

Also because last year i hardly rode and when i did ride i never had a front brake i couldnt lern certain fings I.E. front to backs on rails. Now i have a front brake im scared to try it and because i never had once i just stuck to gaps etc now im good (ish) at drop gaps etc i feel that the rails ive done are not up to the standard they should be compared to drop gaps etc.

so i dont know what to put into my vid so now my vid is really slow progress unless i find something i know is good.

And now im to scared to try drop gaps pussied out of one today that was piss.

Any ideas

should i film stuff i think will be cool for a vid or keep waiting untill i find something i really like.

P.s can someone show me the spellcheck button i can not find it.

make a vid that you personally are happy with, dont make it for anyone else.

it isnt a competition to see who can go the biggest/furthest/highest and what not, just have fun on your bike and make a vid that YOUR happy with....thats what i`d want to do anyway..

Maybe you should give riding a break then come back to it.

Or

Get some serious energy drink, some warm sun, loads of riders, new spots and i'm sure you won't not be tempted to go throw yourself at something big.

We all start to think our progression is slowing down but before you know it one day your suddenly get a few things together and find all you need to was just have fun to learn.

Well, I can give you my answer, although I can't say how much use it will be to you.

Whatever goes in your video, make sure it's not the ONLY thing that goes in it. The thing that most bores me in trials videos sometimes is seeing someone do the same move over and over again in different places. So use all your creativity and get some variety in. And if you can work some out, longer lines/combos are much better to watch than single moves.

I think what people have said about doing whatever you enjoy most is also true, so just have fun and film it!

Also (getting a bit philosophical) it might help to take a step back and think about why you're making the video. Is it for you to be proud of, give you a record of your achievements, for others to enjoy, inspire or just entertain your mates etc. Then it might be easier to decide what to put in it. Sorry if I just floated away on a fluffy cloud of trials ideaology.

Just try to think creative mate. Look at what you're doing and think about how you can do it differently, you can gap big so try and look for a big gap into a big drop gap or some shit like that.

And learn hooks matey, they're so fun :D

EDIT: It seems to me that all this big riding shit is back in trials fashion for now so don't worry too much about that.

BTW you coming to Bristol on 27th?

*cough* lol I had this but on a smaller scale of the being scared thing, with my riding I film stuff that I am happy with and also things that im proud of. At the end of the day you're making a video to show you off not to beat the previous persons score ,

Try it on the brum ride hehe ;)

a good vid usually takes ages to film...

the second one the answer is both as they should be the same ?

one cls does over the water in zoo 28 and the one to the sloped wall he goes over lol not sure though,

haha both stupid gaps.

the one over the water is just not worth it ... as the gap isnt that huge but the drop is... so its just is your bike strong enough and can you hold a big ass drop - plus its been done a load of times by other nutbars..

Beau you tit, go big, thats what you are good at doing!

slam a few clips of technicle stuff in there too, so people know that you can do that to and it'l go down well.

Everyone likes your vids anyway.

Learn some of them cool tap 90 degree turns onto walls. Maybe some rail swaps switch moves?

Mega love, max...

well vid is nearly done as i got some nice footage lastnight in wolvohampton and a sick as bail lol.

Get ready kids beau number 3 here in a few days.

Just also been thinking ok maybe alot of it is tgs front to backs etc thats how i ride and i havent ridden properly for time. I had 4 months off riding then i had a month on and anotehr 1 off.

So im rusty lol.

this is easy

film everything, then get someone else to choose the clips for final editing.

it'll make for an interesting artistic challenge and you'll get an objective point of view on which clips are best to look at - just cos something was difficult/dangerous doesn't mean it looks good.
