hi, im a beginner waiting for easter to get a mod bike but want to start learning on my mountain bike.

i was wondering what a good middle ground bike would be, and also a time-frame on howlong it should take to learn for someone 250 pounds of, lets not go there..., at 5 foot 10/11.

Hi there mate, i'd say any trials specific mod/stock bike from tartybikes over £350 should be good enough to start on, and it'll probably take a while to learn but thats the fun really when your learning and you nail it. You'll either catch on quickly or it'll take a while, good luck mate,

Sorry mate didn't realise you lived in canada, approx $750 - $800 i think. Any trials specific bike in that range should be good for starting on i reckon, go for something like an onza, monty, koxx or any of the other big companies. Hope thishelps mate.
