Nick Garland
Trouser Clips Awsome to be honest, stop you ripping jeans and you dont look like a chav. No offense porter.Serious note though, dont run a Front freewheel Assuming you are that is, or run a bash.

Orgun_Donor
wear less baggy jeans.Im finding myself getting used to slightly tighty jeans now, and seems to be better
Janson
i modified my riding jeans to be less baggy around the calves. i cant stand bootcuts at all, even tiny ones, they're horrible for riding and look silly.
Broomer
4 quid jeans from asda, never do get caught in the freewheel and if they do it doesnt matter, because they were 4 quid.
paolo
Jeans with small stiching inside and an inch thick bashguard (that's also my spider, thanks to my ex-eingener bike shop owner ) solve my problem...
manuel
ride left foot forwardWhy does that work ?
Krisboats
Why does that work ?Because your driveside trouser leg is further back, around mid chainstay kind of area so your trouser just rubs on the chain... instead of right foot forwards, where the trouser leg is roughly in line with the bb . Bionic Balls
believe me...it doesn't work!i've recently started doing it alot...having to sit down in the middle of the road to untangle it :-si hate to do it...but the sock is the only way. Jez
Combat pants. They have wee tie thingies in the bottom failing that, back in the olden days we used to use an animal or kahuna watch strap (MBUK gave out a free one one issue and a coupla days later everyone had em wrapped around their right ankle)Best combo though is combats + massive steel toecap boots. Means yer pants are halfway up yer shin 'Course there's a slight weight issue there...but it didn't stop me Edited January 14, 2007 by Jez
