Chain Cleaning

Hey there guys im really f*ucking annoyed lately with the chain on my stock it just doesnt seem to stay clean when i clean it with a chain cleaning device and using an assortment of lubricants. Somehow my chain gets it self dirty even if i havent rode my bike and my chain is clean anyone got any suggestions as when i go out riding im having spidgy oil splatters on my trousers.

Thats your problem, you putting a load of lube on there and it attracts the dirt then gets wiped off on your trousers. Wipe your chain with a clean rag... just hold the rag on the chain while rotating the pedal with your hand and then leave it.

No more crappy trousers.

Hmm youve got a point there mate ill try that trick its just that i cant stand a dirty chain.

If its two weeks old, short of living in scotland and trying to outride mud-landslides before you go riding i can't see how it'd be dirty enough to warrant a chain cleaning tool on it. Just wipe it with a rag, and leave it.
