paolo
I have thought of changing my name, my name is Louis, and since I live in french province, everytime someone say's "oui" (yes) I'm like yes since both words sound the same. So it gets fairly anoying in public spaces and well if someone screams my name because he's looking for me, chances are I won't turn around... If I had to change it, I would probably choose some spanish name just because they sound so awsome, Paolo, Alejandro, Baltasar or some incredibly long french name like Francois-Andre, Jean-Christophe, Armand-Georges... spode@thinkbikes
I had my name changed when I was 19. Had Spode added in as a middle name - Andrew Spode Alexander Miller.Everyone has called me Spode since I was 14 and it's what I'm known as in the IT industry. So I figured If I add it in, I could just go by my middle name instead. However, I never actually got around to changing any my ID, so it's not really official. But I do have the certificate somewhere... When my passport runs out I'll get it done.
RobinJI
That reminds me actually, my mate at college, her last name is Suksum I would'nt change my name i like it how it is Although i would have to if i got married. You wouldn't have to unless the guy you were marrying was a knob, but you might want to. I'm not too bothered about my name, for years to 'what do you prefer to be called' has been 'I honestly don't care, as long as you let me know so I can answer to it.' But I normaly get called Robin, or Roby by my brother and some of his mates. Only thing I don't like being called is Rob, because I have a mate called Rob, and it just gets confusing otherwise. My real names Robin John Ingram, I take the piss out of the batman and robin link more than anyone else, doesn't really bother me. I think I should change it to Flash Gordon, and take up American football.

Trebor
Hmm, I think I'd just add an 'o' onto my first name. Although it'd only work in the summer when I look Spanish/Italian.
