Chain Tensioner Do They Last?

Hey, the reason for this topic is about good chain Tensioner for a 24inch and 26inch bikes, i have been using single speed since i started trials like 2 years ago, and i have went throw dozens of them, and i wont to know what you think, and can anyone recomend a good one that will last???

hi mate. i have got a dmr and i have single speed on that and i also have a dmr tension seeker and it keeps the chain nice and tight and you can have it how ever you want.

yea i had MK2 for acouple of months and it was ok,but they little metal bar kept bending out of place!!!

in my experience unsprung chain tensioners are extremely poor (N) if your going to get one make sure you spend a bit more a get one which works the same as a rear mech i think the dmr sts 2 is a sprung tensioner

yea i had it as i sayed to the other guy, but it wasnt really that good!!! im looking at the £50 that Tarty have the Rohloff Speedhub Tensioner, is it good? do you know??

Alright mate

I got the DMR STS , and last night it bent <_< heard a massive bang and couldnt work out why my chain was so slack, relised when i got home that the tensioner was bent, so i went to college today and hammerd it back, but it anit going to last long. :closedeyes:

yea i have had that problem loads!! i cant wait for the Heatsink tensioner to come out, it looks like a tank!!!
