26inch
get them to use boltd with 8mm heads as you cant crank the current bolts uo very well, alos an option of ti bolts would be nice.
Nick Garland
Or Hope could save alot of development costs and just make you guys buy real stock frames I cant see much use for it to be honest, 116mm spacing instead of 135, when most the markets use 135mm it seems pointless. Ashley Smith
already made one.......... initially for matt rushton but he changed to stockall i did was use a standard pr0 2 body (i.e. the one that holds the 8/9 speed freeheub body)and machines down the end caps and used a 6 speed freehub body!as ali mentioned..........................very simple and easy to make, looks pimpash

Ashley Smith
to be honest hope wont be doing anything soon!i made the hub myself from aprts and moddified them, who knows though they may bring something out......it all depends on the market ash
Onza Kieron
Surely if someone made a poll on here so everybody interested could say so then send to Hope. This would show a lrge ammount of people wanting them, big demand. Just a thought.

Walleee
did that mean it was possible to run 6 gears on a mod spaced hub??Try mounting a mech.you could have 6 cog's, but not exactley 6 working gears.
bikerider
Try mounting a mech.you could have 6 cog's, but not exactley 6 working gears.Drill and a tap a thread? Or mount the mech on the end of the axle somehow? Actually, you could use the thread from the tensioner bolt tab thing ?Don't really, know, just thinking it could be something interesting, a mod-spaced frame you can use in comps?? CurtisRider
there are a few tensioners with built in hangers, by the likes of dmr, etcso yeah, a 6speed mod spaced frame isnt out of the question

This would show a lrge ammount of people wanting them, big demand. Just a thought.the scale that hope work on is unbelievably large......... they make just over a 1000 of each model of hub a week................i still can't see them making a mod hub...............did that mean it was possible to run 6 gears on a mod spaced hub??no because i machined i little of the freehub body in length down, you could probably for 4 or 5 on though................ but who the hell wants a mod with gears..............seriously?ash
CurtisRider
but who the hell wants a mod with gears..............seriously?modstocks, you know, those stupid stock frames with mod spacing, i know, stupid isnt it

future orange 660
if its as simple as changing the freehub and cutting spacers.. it wouldnt be hard for hope to do this..the only new design would be in the spacers then just make more of the 6 speed freewheelsotherwise 2 hubs need to be bought.. one will end up useless though and stupidly longstill though why are no frames bolt through?
