Echeques And Paypal

Right, every time I use Paypal now it uses an 'eCheque' which takes 10 days to clear, which is a bit crap. I'm sure it used to be instant? Am I doing something wrong? I've had a quick look through the settings but can't find anything about it.

Some dude bought my bike frame from me and It has also used the same thing. I've never seen it before but according to the sender 'he had a cheque waiting to clear from his account'...which doesn't make sense?

Its pissed me off a bit actually because I have to wait about 2-3 weekd for me to get the money into my paypal account and then into my bank. I can't seeing it being a normal thing though, paypal is used for its speedy transactions, this just takes the piss a bit.

Ah...just thought It may have something to do with someone using a different payment method (other than paypal) to pay into your account?
