I have also found this problem but putting lock tight on it will solve the prob well it has for me and no it shouldn't be too difficult to remove afterwards, it's not like glue. Go for it!! i use it on alot of my threaded parts. (Y)

the problem could be that your not tightening it on enough you should invest in a torque wrench therefore, you will be able to give it all the Nm (NEWTON METERS) it need! or if you want you could try the lock tite

yeh i have used one i used my mates it just keeps on coming undone gona get me some lock tight it will do the job.

Hello, while you have your bottom braket out if you spray wd 40 on the threds of your frame and bottom braket, this will displace the grease from it and give it a quick scrub with a tooth brush. dont bother with the lock light your better off using strength. as if you arnt strong enough to tighten it enough to stop it form coming loose you might not be able to get it out when you need to. hope ive helped (Y)

reet o fella, take ur BB out, take the bike/frame to a bike shop and get the threads "chased" that'll properly clean em out!

clean the threads on the BB itself also and yeah, wack on some locktite!

make sure you do put on some grease though.

Lasty........give em some pasty when you come to tighten it up, you'll do well to strip the threads in your frame if you haven't cross threaded it from the start but you would realise straight away unless you a re a moron!!good luck!!
