GTF
I dont like mods. They are made for kids.i dislike anything too mainstream.... like everyone running echo rims in those colours..... i dunno just something i really dislike about it! id far prefer to run a ronnie or something..... i dunno maybee its me just being a silly wanna be old school bum chum.....far prefer stuff that maybe cheaper but does the same job and stop worrying about "yea but CLS's snapped within a day" only 5 people on the forum ride like CLS so it dont bother me.... on my stock was quite a lot of MTB sorta stuff......too many 12 year olds on bikes over a grand running too much fly stuff they dont use!110% agreed. manuel
Onza Personally Koxx gets my goat... I dont see why their frames / components should be any more expensive than Dengs... but they are .... by alot.

20inchsuperstar
if you add a year to that twelve year old statement then that'll be me. my bike cost well over a grand but all the stuff is used and i use it everyday so whats the problem? im with anzo on this, if you want to spend loads on your bike then do it.also why cane onza down so much? almost everyone has started, or at some stage, used an onza.i agree with all the koxx stuff being over-priced but i still like iti strongly dislike missions and the like but as long as their being used............matt
Lambton
right lads, ive noticed yu are all knocking mission and onza, but think about it.......its brands like those that get kids and new riders into trials and its brands such as those that are gonna help the sport develope!we need the sport to grow, think about it, as it gets bigger the more specialist places we're gonna have to ride, under cover and indoors, thats what you want!! no council is gonna build a trials specific park or area in any town for the sake of 10 riders, 15 riders, 20 etc.the reason we have football pitches every where is because there are loads of people that use em!so, give it a rest with "i hate mission, i hate onza"!!!!on the other hand yeah KOXX is bloody expensive! but i do like it! Walleee
I dont like mods. They are made for kids.Yeh, im sure the £1000+ plus monty mod's and koxx mod's are designed with 'kids' in mind. That's why adult world champions test them.Do you have to mention in EVERY post your dislike of mod's?Personally Koxx gets my goat... I dont see why their frames / components should be any more expensive than Dengs... but they are .... by alot. Not that I know exacley what koxx do, but I often compare this to audio equipment.Companie's such as ashdown, quest etc, manufacture high quality audio component's, many of which cost £1000's, they develop new product's, do their research, and come out with a product, sometimes it's great, and somtime it's not what consumers are looking for. Then there are brands for example behringer, who will allow quest to do all the research, design, teasting etc, and once the hard work has been done they will grab a schematic, and copy it, using lower quality component's perhaps or materials.I would liken koxx to quest, and onza(or deng) to behringer, with the distinct differance that onza also develop their own product's Ie. limey, tensile etc. (mainly talking about lower end t-bird t-pto etc ,or with deng, pitbull, czar headtube blah blah)Basically if I was going to buy a koxx (im afraid im in no financial position to do so!) I would be doing so in the knowledge that my money was going toward development and testing of new product's, not only for the time and materials for that one frame, in a way you are investing to a degree. gianttrials
I dont like mods. They are made for kids.I strongly disagree because there are advantages to both stocks and mods and there not made for kids (kids run shorter stems anyways). Don't dis till you try. It's a shame people keep having this re-ocurring argument about whats better 'Stock or Mod'. There so different from each other you can't really say. Just ride what you ride and enjoy it. Stop slagging off about it. Some of the Newbury Boys especially like to slag off mods, and I can't understand why because at the end of the day we're all doing the same thing.Sorry to rant but it has to be said.Ben g WST
anzo
im with anzo on this, if you want to spend loads on your bike then do it.Nah, thats not really my arguement, I said if you...as in me, myself and I, have the money, then its ok to spend it...Your 13...the likelihood of you having over £1000 to spend on a bike is a little unbelievable, I admit I was a spoilt brat when I was little, but by no means £1000+ spoilt! I never had £5 to chip in with a bottle of cider, nevermind that much to spend on a bike.To be honest theres a massive difference between going to work and 'earning' it; then asking mum and dad for it.So, to end the rant, parts dont annoy me, the riders parents do

Muel
Monty, da bomb, mission, onza, base, ddg, (frames not dreadlocks), ONZA!!!, saracen.onza citrus pads are good though and the zona...thats made by onza, they're good True, these are the only two onza things I might ever buy.I have a T-POO, the cranks fell apart, the frame snapped, the bar/stem geo is all wrong, its too short, the frame is too light and weak whilst everything else is too heavy, the headsets keep coming loose becaue they are shite and the cups don't sit in the frames properly, the brakes don't work unless you have a booster because the frames are too weak.SHITE!!! I agree also that coloured rims look shite, I would only ever get try-all fluro whites.I hate coloured cranks, rims, and hubs. But love coloured rim tape!?
