jeff-jeff
Hi everyone I recently had a go on my friend’s trials bike and I absolutely loved it so I started to look into trials bikes. I have always ridden 26 inch bikes so I want to stick with them. But I’m not sure what type of bike I should get.I quite like the onza T-rex in blue and silver I can get it for 200 pounds second hand. But I’m also thinking about making a bike because my friend will sell me a good frame, cranks and handle bars for £90 and then I listed all the parts I came up with Forks £65Brakes £95 magurra hs33Chain £12Front hub £45 Hope Pro 2 Rim £20 Echo Front 26 Spokes £15 Sapim Race Rear hub £100 Hope Pro 2 Rim £25 Echo Rear 26" 2006 Spokes £15 Sapim Race Stem £35 Echo ControlHead set £45 Echo 7075 Cassette £15 Echo 7 SpeedThat all comes up to £577So I’m open to all suggestions .P.S it must have gears LOL
flas12345
if you are only just going to start trials i would get the t-rex because you can learn everything on that and abuse it then you can get a better bike in the future when you are realy good. theres no point in getting realy good parts and having a mint bike if you are only just starting because you will just reck it and im sure you want to do that. go for the t-rex matehope iv helped. jackamory
hi, you forgot the rear mech(about £25-£30), the forks (about £30-£60), gear shifter (about £10), nipples (about £5), bb (£30), pedals (£20-£50), tyres (£40-£60), inner tubes (£10), grips (£15), and if your getting the wheels built add od about £15-£20 each hope iv helped, jackp.s make sure you have everything that you need written down because all the little things that you'v forgotten add up to more than you expect. CrOcKeR
As said before get the t-rex your only learning it will take a good beating as any rider will give out. For £200 u cant go rong really as u can upgrade it with the money spare from your build altough i would save that for just when parts brake.mike
