Ghetto Rider
Hey,Dry out the inside of the grip. before you put it on breath down it with your hand over the end if needed? then put it on, you may need to hold the bars and use your hand as a hammer! If the grrip stil turns: twist untill dry! hope that helps!dan

Henri
I clean the bars first. Then pour a little amount of water inside the grips and on they go! They usually turn around in the beginning, but the water will dry. You can speed it up by turning the grips or with a hairdryer.

Egg Fried Rice
depending on what grip you got a pump works great. cover up the other end of the bars and place the pump on the end of the grip and pump. the grip inflates and oooozes on with easeJK Edited January 5, 2007 by J-KAY

Krisboats
hair spray works well because it goes hard after so they dont tend to come offThats the way i've always done it too. Works alright.
RobinJI
Hairspray is good, but I've found Lynx dry works even better. When I was working in a bike shop we used GT85, which was great, but no better than Lynx, just more available in a bike shop. The easiest thing is to just push em on with a bit of muscle, if you run BMX style bar-plugs that cover the end of the grip I find they stay put better in the wet. Dr Dig
Pour a small amont of petrol into it let excess liquid out then put it on allow it 5 or 10 minutes to dry then your ready to go. Captain Scarlet
Yea my friend told me of using petrol as it evaporates quickly.Well I haven't gone through many grips, but to slide them on I just used a bit of saliva and if they need sealing after that I just use spray adhesive (The stuff that sticks carpet tiles or lino tyles down). poopipe
whats the best way to put grips on because i used a bit of washing up liquid because they wer hard to get on ??????????chris :D:Dyour grips are going to slide around all over the place till you replace them. if you're really lucky they'll make bubbles when they get wet though so its not all bad
