Pretty much everyone is on there, its becoming MSNA friend signed up a week or two before me, 3 days after, got some hot girl from school and is now pretty much see'ing herDid i mention pretty much everyone is on there? I didn't really want to sign up to Myspace 'cos I knew what the Myspace scene was like and it was nothing that I wanted to be a part of, however, it's sometimes a necessary evil. It's been super easy to share my pictures with people and keep in contact with them (I prefer Myspace to stuff like Flickr for sharing pictures), and it's a good networking tool. However, just because I network through it doesn't mean I don't want to f**king ice-axe all the scenesters who exist purely to try and get more imaginary friends on Myspace So yeah, either way, Simon doesn't like Myspace, but Simon recognises it's uses, and as a result he has a link in his sig. Not the hardest bit of online detective work ever Purely because of those bloody "Join me at Bebo!" e-mails, I'm not joining it. Any company that likes to knowingly piss people off like that can lick my nuts. Same goes for WAYN. People from here, who don't know me, asking "Where are you now?" seems a bit stupid, to be fair.I set up a Facebook account and tried doing stuff with it, but it just annoyed me too much. The way you are so limited with who you can contact and network with is a bit stupid, which brings me to the stupidest thing ever invented, the "Friends only" Myspace page. You go onto Myspace to meet new people, but you refuse to let new people speak to you.Nice one, idiots. It's pretty cool though how you can judge people's self confidence levels. Generally, munters with the Myspace Angles will let anyone see their pics, but the nice looking people with the Angles set it to private. Desperate, hell yeah. RicH_87 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Share Posted January 4, 2007 yeh, no matter how much you hate myspace, you will eventually be sucked in. unless it goes away completely, or they start charging for it.i hate the majority of myspace pages, it actually gets my physically angry, sad though that is,but there are genuinely some good pages out there, so it's well worth signing up just to keep track of those.some really good photographers, bands and unsigned/un-noticed amature animators are on there, which i think is one of the best things to come out of myspace.no matter how much it sucks, it's got massive appeal to everyone, of every age and everywhere in the world pretty much. I don't understand why you would want to join an online community which works exactly like MySpace but has less people on it and is just plain not as good as MySpace, that's a bit like re-inventing the wheel in my opinion.
