Hmm, that Tryall site won't work for me. Does anyone know what the padding's like inside those Tryall lids?

According to a reliable source, there pretty similar to the normal skate style helmets... About 8mm thick padding spaced out around the inside in the usual sort of fashion. :nerd:

Adequate, and good for the price. :turned:

I think I love you a bit dude :$ lol.

Awww

I'm a bit pee'd off now, just bought a Xen for £65 and one of those Try-All jobbies would have done nicely...

It was more a case of seeing if they were like the old school Protec helmets which don't have the hard polystyrene outer, just the plastic then 2 types of foam block, or whether they're like new skate helmets which have the hard plastic shell, then the polystyrene layer, then some thin foam pads for comfort...

I got one order the other day when they wern't on the site, fred/ben must have put it on after I had called. It arrived today.

It's as you describe mark, A hard outer leyer some hard polystyrene and then a star shaped pad on the top, and two going round the front and back half around the bottom. I REALLY like mine, first helmet i've actually kept on my head for any length of time. I got it for both trials and pit biking, will test it's pit bike abilities tomorrow on some hillclimbs!!

Sorry to change the subject, but can you get Try-All mod hubs without the rest of the wheel anywhere?

Give fred a ring at NSE or send ben an e-mail at trialsman, they are available seperatley but I doubt they are kept in stock, might be able to order you one in.
