Then that superifical reason was/is your loss. My Zip was one of the nicest frames I rode, despite being one of the cheapest. They just felt really good to ride and were reasonably strong. For the price they were incredibly good value, so you choosing not to buy one simply because you didn't like the colour it came in reflects more on you and the odd reasons you buy things rather than Zona/Onza. Having said that, throughout the time I rode trials I rode parts with more of a slant towards function rather than form, although that seems to not really be the case with the majority of people now, and even back then to some extent. C'est la vie - I get to ride a good bike, you get to have people say "NICE BIKE M8" on here.

but you hate pythons? keep digging

I don't think Mark has ever said such a broad comment as 'I hate pythons'.

http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=140172&hl=

They did. I fully hated the feel of that frame! It was the least 'mod' frame I'd ridden, in that it seemed like they made it just to be a sort of TGS mini-stock, rather than being an actual mod.

Zona zip was based around the python, hates the python but loves the onza

Based around the Python, but had shorter stays. Mine measured in at around 362-365mm or so, longer Pythons were 375mm which is also why their overall WB was generally longer than actually stated by Zoo (Someone at one of the DJ rides I was on had one that measured in at 1060mm). I hated the long back end on Pythons. The Zip has a shorter rear end. I didn't like the Python's geometry. I liked the Zip's geometry.

No 'digging' required, but nice attempt at a dig yourself ;)

In fact, to quote the Wiki someone made about it:

Its design is based on the 2005ZOO! Python, although the geometry is slightly different.

Cheaper frames because im skint :D

Okay, you can have a special version which requires less labour and less material, then you can come crying when the frame breaks on you.

Next you'll be asking them put the bike together for you.

Look how competitive Onza's prices are in comparison with other frames on the market, and not forgetting that they are a UK company, that actually spends time (and therefore money) into designing and prototyping frames.

Spot on.

I hate all the "but it's an ONZA" crowd out there, I think ONZA do a good things for trials.

Dont want to let it slip but wait until you see the 2010 range, Its our 10th anniversary and we are making sure you like it. It has everyones ideas and comments put in to function and I'm very excited about the response. Not till next year mind you so don't expect any sneak peaks. You guys make us, So please carry on with your ideas. Comp and street have been took into consideration so i hope you like it. The current Ice is sold out as far as we have but there may be a few shops with them left. The second batch is being made and it will have a disc mount for all you disc lovers. The Limey 320 is being tested and should be released hopefully with out any hic cups around Oct time.

Cheers

Yeah , you should make a 1000 wheelbase and a 75 or 80 bb rise for us short asses and comp riders! , And i am looking forward to seeing the 2010 range.

Onza have really good frames atm but you need to bring out some nice parts e.g riser bars , low rise stems similar to the try all NUC geo , the rims are spot on think i may order some at some point , one last question is there going to be a 10th anniversary edition mod and stock frame? :)

Rob Feeley.

Will be tested by Joe when he gets back and hopefully in 6 weeks I can order them, So hopefully they will be ready in the shops in 2 1/2 months. Send your color ideas now!

I prefer mine, it might be heavier, but it's much more solid, because I don't really trust thin tubes...

1000WB?? Gash, too short for me. Was really looking forward to this as well.

That green just reminds me of the atomz mod frame, baby blue reminds me of inspired. Just leave it silver/polished or include some colouring pens so we can draw whatever the heck we want on it :)

EDIT: Or glow in the dark paint!!! PLEASE!!!

For the 20" boys that are interested in next years Pro/Blade, keep that interest, you're going to like what you see. I do, I'm loving the geo.

I shall say no more. :)

but are you being a comp fag, or a TGS monster?
