Limey - HOT

Ice - Poop ( Surly it would made sense to have the grey..a light blue colour??

Thanks, We were going to have a light blue there but decided it would be pretty difficult to colour match your bike, Not saying you can get Grey component's but it more of a neutral colour.

Limey has a lot of 'CNC' work on it which rises the price dramatically, Just because something is "higher level geometry" does not mean you should charge people more for it.

They both ride very differently from one another, If you look in "Riding Pictures" you should be able to see Ryan having a hop around. He had the prototype Ice for the past 6 months and has soon as he got on the Limey 20 he realised each bike had its own very different positives. I'll text him later to see if he will pop a few words down on what they ride like and what sort of rider would like which etc.

Onza, I believe you were making an interlocking singlespeed spacer kit for a rear freehub.

any news on that? Has it been released?

I was looking to buy a new singlespeed sprocket, but I wouldn't mind one of yours as it should eliminate digging in completely.

We have been testing for quite a while to make sure it does what it says on the packet. We are now looking to relese it with a choice of 3 sprockets. (14,15,16).

Would any body like to add a size and explain why? Should be out March time next year.

Thanks

March?

That's ages away.

If I were you, I'd release 18t, as middleburns with the standard ring, 22t, and 18t at the back make a good stock ratio.

I'd personally go for a 16t though.

It's a shame, I'll have to buy a different singlespeed set.

Just because something is "higher level geometry" does not mean you should charge people more for it.

Finally, a bike company has acknowledged that! It used to really piss me off how you'd have to pay £XX more to have decent length stays or a decent wheelbase...

While I agree this is a good thing, I just can't understand who would want to pay more for a heavier frame with 'lower level' geometry?

I get that different people want different things out of a frame, but if I rode mod I know which frame I would choose...

Not having a dig, just curious :)

Oh I know dude, For example the new £1800 sky Geo..........Thats 1000mm +90 bb 350mm("Expensive Geo bike in your eyes"). Apart from the BB its similar geo to the Limey 20" (I know that everyone will be like"oh my god, look how much different the BB is though" But) I'm guessing you were referring to it being short where as the Ice is a bit longer? or were you talking about the BB height? either way its all down to preference. The only way to solve this issue would be to hide the price making the Ice £350. >_<

I don't sleep.

Crazy fool.

I really like the Ice, I'm not keen on the Limey 20 though, it looks a bit green and a bit too much CNC'd stuff for my liking. They're a big step foward though and the cheaper Onza mods look great, nice one.
