26inch
Anyone have any experience with the atomlab hubs, they come in mod and stock widths and the 4pawl 64ingagements sound pretty promissinghttp://www.atomlab.com/bmxhub.htmlhttp://www.atomlab.com/mtbhubss.html

RobinJI
Looks pretty nice and Atomlab stuff's normally top-notch. But I'm not sure I could trust a ratchet ring that size with 32 teeth.
Nick Garland
Its either 2 pawls engageing at a time on 32 teeth, which would be bad, 1 pawl at a time on a deep 16 tooth, fine for most stuff not trials, or its going to be a horrible 4 pawls on a 64 teeth, which is just deadly. RobinJI
2 pawls in a 32t ratchet should be fine for most kinda of use, although not ideal I admit, but I'd much rather that than 1 in a 16t, that would just throw all the forces way out and the pawls would have to be beefy as fook. I expect its 2 in a 32 though, as 32t ratchets are quite common in BMX cassette hubs, a few mates use Eastern 32t ratchet 3-pawl hubs and there amazing for BMX/streety stuff. paolo
4 pawls, 64 click cassete, use your eyes Edited January 5, 2007 by paolo
26inch
he saying how they have achieved the 64 clicks with 4 pawls as there are many different ways, all with varying levels of success. Personnaly i think 64 is too many for a rear hub without it having a massive shell to fit deep teeth in.
RobinJI
4 pawls, 64 click cassete, use your eyes Yeah, sorry, I saw that. I was just meaning that the 64 clicks are probably achieved by 2 sets of 2 pawls engaging into a 32t ratchet, giving 64 'clicks' form 4-pawls. A 64t ratchet would just be silly, so I hope that's not the case
