Barbra
i don't ride stock, but all the riders that i know of that ride stock all have single speed, so do it!
GTF
Gears just get in the way, so so single speed.
jonny_smith
yeah single speed all the way, i was geared until xmas, and i bought a surley sprocket, gusset bachelor, hope spacers and try-all grips and it's the best thing i've bought for my bike my bike is soo quiet now as well, no chain slapping my frame and everthing is tucked out of the way which gives you the confidence to try bigger side-hops without thinking your going to destroy your mech if you don't make it. O just thort i'd say i use 22-18 and its just perfect for me but maybe when i get a bit better i'll move to 22-16 for that bit extra power when gapping. JohnyMilton
Go single speed, it lightens ur back end up a lot, and its also good to have single speed as it doesnt skip like gears do sometimes!!!Johny

Captain Scarlet
Hehe Lee I think you should change to single speed, it would benefit the Mod riders like me, that you ride with.So you don't go speeding off.
gianttrials
simple if your just doing trials on your bike go singlespeed, but if you have to ride any long distance on it probably stick with gears, i personally prefer singlespeed though, less hassle and all that
1337 Trials
I swapped from gears to single speed on one off my other bikes and its so much better because gears allways f**k up. Also it looks like a good thing to go with single speed mate by the replys ~Matty

steve@banbury-trials
i would recommend single speed as there easyer to maintain, lighter and i would say smoother running.only downside is that getting away from chav scum that want to steal my bike isn't fun as i can only pedal so fast before you have to coast along, not fun steve

Captain Scarlet
Also it would free up the gear shifter on your handlebar, so you could actually see the ZOO! logo on the left hand side (as you face it).
