c.kezer
it could be that your pads havent beded in yet give them some time.also why have you bought 1 of each pad?chris
Ghetto Rider
have you bought one of each pad?If so why? If not then put the koxx on and set-up the brake! Then just ride around with the brake on and hopefully over time you'll get a squeak. Keep doing it untill it sounds like a pig being killed and you cant pedel anymore and hey presto!!! ManxTrialSpaz
Rock Pads will take a while to bed in and will have decent hold hold etc. But I think the Koxx Blues are a bit soft and will just be torn apart by a harsh grind and won't grip much in the short amount of time they last anyway
I-LUV-TRIALS
i am running two different pads because the koxx works well in the wet and the rock pad work well in the dry therefore good braking all round give it ago its amazing

matt!
ride about with brake on abit to bed your pads in, and set your brake correctly and your brake should your fine, also spin our back wheel and put hot kettle water on it and then dry the water of with a rag/cloth..the hot water will get ride of dirt on your rim and help your brake preform better..hope it helps.. They amazing in the dry, and still, very amazing in the wet, they dont loose ANY performance.. they even still sqeek in the wet... in a fooking MASSIVE dirty puddle... lolP.S, never have a harsh grind, it defeats the object of having a grind, light, sharp is the way forward... ZOO! 2007
to make them bed in a bit quicker then get some wet and dry paper and slowly roughen it up then they bed in quicker than riding them!

Alastair
How old is your brake? Because you may need to bleed it again? Check that the pads are both moving, or as lame as it sounds check the positioning of your pads in relation to the rim, and if your fluid is old then they wont pull or return that well.Al
trials wannabe
just wondering if someone hasnt asked this before ( is it a maggy ? and if so is it fully bled
Razzy
Hi, I put my new Rock Pad Blues in yesterday and went down to ride about in a car park near mine.About 5 minutes after i got there, it started pissing it down and my brakes were absolutely awesome! I only had a light grind on my rim but the brakes were working excellently and completely locking aswell as sounding great! So basically i didnt have to wait at all for my brakes to bed in, although my rim had just been ground and so was quite clean. Maybe your rim has a bit of oil or dirt on?
chasthetrialsrider
yeh check for oil i put some on my brakes once to help them move ( i know what the hell did I do that for) but it stopped my brake gripping for about a week put some really hot water on them then go ride pulling the brake really hard will help to bead them in also if this doesnt work go and ride around in a puddle i have a maggy red on the front of mine with an unground rim at it made it stick like glue it was great it also made my back brake work better aswell that has a light grind with plazmatic pads on it (they are super great pads) also it isnt a new brake you have put them on is it because i have known loads of people that have bought new brakes and when they get them they have no fluid in them and they put them on go to ride and the y dont work I just carnt help but rack up laughing when they tell me hahahahahope ive helped m8
