RR_Trials
I am the sort of person that gets wound up really easily and ends up braking things, and i have heard about self hypnosis. To be honest i don't think there is such thing as hypnosis, but maybe someone on here has tried it and it did/didn't work.... But yeah, your opinions please.P.s I'm looking it up on goggle, but i don't know weather to believe if accounts etc of it working are true or not. Smo™
I'd say it's a bad idea mate, just relax and don't break things!

Smo™
Next time you get mad remember what happens, I think if you conciously try to control yourself you'll do fine.
Joe_Elding
I tryed this once, i wrote down my ''awakening'' code on a bit of paper so someone would find it and say the word and thus waking me up, i basically swang this medallion in front of my eyes thinking about being a chicken and then dropped the medallion and blinked really quickly i spent about two hourse thinking i was a chicken before my brother found the bit of paper.I found this site reallyt helpful
anzo
I don't believe this for a second to be honest, yes it does have a weird effect, its called being asleep or dozing off...its that 'nice feeling' when you get into bed. Personally, I think it's exagerated by sad old women that believe anything they hear...just look on TV to see what I mean; anti-aging cream, anything made by JML, cleaning product ect.Obviously its all down to will power, if its happening so much you feel you need hypnosis, I don't think its going to work. RR_Trials
OH well, i have found out that hypnoses is basically telling your self to do something and that you wont necessarily do it it will just make you not want to do it as much.E.g You tell yourself to stop picking your nose. You could either think F**K it and carry on anyway.or You could think OK i wont.Kind of hard to explain but my point is if you are hypnotized you don't HAVE to do what your being 'told' it will just be a push in the direction. Barbra
when you get angry, ride or take up something else like kung fu or karate.I have a violent temper as well. I'm a nice guy but if i'm annoyed, and then something completely pisses me off i lose all control over myself, what i do is i clench my fists really tight sit down somewhere put my head in my arms, my eyes usually water and just let myself calm down. EDIT: And a punchbag usually helps, i used to have one but i broke mine, from punching it lasted a while though Edited January 2, 2007 by Barber
