Problems With Your Bike At The Moment

Okay, no bike is ever perfect, and if it is near perfect it can't last.

What little problems do you have with your bike at this moment in time?, could be anything from a slight creak to a major problem.

Currently, my V-brakes are playing me up a bit usually one does more work than the other and then its varies which one is doing what, then one arm does nothing.

Its not like a major problem, just a bit of an annoyance.

What has everyone else got going on at the moment?

My back brake keeps rolling through in the wet/muddy weather :(

I run a smooth rim with echo pinks, although i would much rather run a disk on rear in winter but my ashton doesn't have a calliper lugg on the frame.

Also, i don't grind my rim because i think it weakens the rim and eats the pads to much for me to afford.

Cheers, Josh.

Just cracked my T-PRO, I have put up a topic about in For sale/Wanted, If any pre-memebrs have a frame that fits the discription then email me: samuelwottonturner@gmail.com.

Other than that my onza citrus pads are wearing down faster than anything, I have had them on for a week and they are more than half gone, any other options that are more hard wearing?

Well my problem is not the worst but man it's annoying I rode my bike down to mates and got half way there and my wheel was flat. After getting home I fixed the punctures all four of them went riding the next day and got 2 more. It seems when ever I go out I get a puncture. It’s not fair.

happy new year to all

Disc mounts need facing

Disc brake pads are contaminated

Chain hasn't been changed for 19 months (think i'll see how long it lasts before it snaps)

Rear chainring is worn, need a proper CK type one.

Cranks hitting my Magura

Chain tensioner needs re-making as it bends too easily

Rear end is far too heavy!
