nafan
If the lever is old, it may snap at the bracket (that joins it to the bars)Just one question though, why the hell do you need to know that?Nathan

A!!
I can actually do it to mine now, i first noticed it by accident when i was testing the brake after bleeding it. Nothing has happend to mine yet, it just feels spongy as both the stays flex. But the main reason mine dones that is because it has some pretty bad frame flex going on, so i need to attach a booster to it again. But my guess would be one of the seals would burst. Fish-Finger-er
depends, but wright pads on here, has from either 2 or 1 finger braking, cracked 4 cylinders due to braking power, they split along the seams, shearing the pins holding the 2 sides of the cylinders together. Fish-Finger-er
but apparently his brakes soo powerful so why would he use two fingers, and has anyone else experienced maggie cylinders spitting?nope but then were not running his prototype brake pads, which have a stickyness unrivalled by super glue,so were not gunna get the grip required to do it. and darren, you must of been looking the other way at the time. cant see why anyone would lie about stuff, ever
Matt_Tupman
We tried this a while back with a G-clap on the leaver to tighten it in all that happend was the seals around the piston in the leaver blow out.but apparently his brakes soo powerful so why would he use two fingers, and has anyone else experienced maggie cylinders spitting?Yeah I saw it once a few years back but it was battered to hell. matt!
I did it ages ago and the bolt snapped in the frame.can imagine that happening, also the magura levers are hard to break by just pulling the lever, did it with a old brake any nothing happend apart from the caliper moving in the brake mount.. Jez
Definitely the hoses where they go into the slave cylinders, broke more than I care to mention. So much so that fixing both that and punctures became one of those things that I could do subconsciously. One of the reasons I quit using maggies.V's Edited December 31, 2006 by Jez
