Fish-Finger-er
up to you really, comp, or street rider.if your purely comp and natty, going as far as 18:18 is good, makes everything light, but no power for gaps.if your pure street, i mean manuals, rolling pedal gaps, not so much into taps etc, then you could go for 18-14/13 or similar.generally most people who ride a mixture of stuff, go for 18:16 or 18:15, generally is down to general preference, remember riding in worcester a couple of years back on my monty, with 22-14 gearing, seemed fine, cos i had powerhouse legs at the time, now find im more suited to 18:15, or 18:16. doesnt seem to make a whole load of difference to me, but tis personal preference. GTF
18-15 is good for a all around ride, and 18-13 is good for steet stuff.I have tried both over a time now.
chris mac
18-15 is good for a all around ride, and 18-13 is good for steet stuff.I have tried both over a time now. i have 22 16 i find it purely horrible, its way too easy for me i would like 18 12 the normal for a mod. cant untill my new back wheel and cranks get sorted out
