Sam Oliver
Usually when it sqeeks it is contaminated, try cleaning rotor with thinners& change the pads,

trials 123
don't buy new pads just put them in the oven and don't scrub just pour the boiling hot water on the disc then ride around with your front brake on thanks SAM
tryallmaster
Ill try that, i would of never of thought pouring hot water on the pads would work and putting them in the oven? how does this help? matter of interest. ill try it though if you say works.thanks, lewis
JT!
I'd just ride and let them sort themselves out. Mine used to squeak and now they don't. If the power and quality braking is ok then don't worry about it.Also make sure the rotor is perfectly centerd and the fork mount is faced. 1337 Trials
Is the disc still good though??? ~Matty
bikerboy16
your disc might be warped or you might just have to adjust your caliper by moving the little washers around to your get it all right it took me ages to set mine up with out it squeeking but normally they should sort them self out good luck with it though
anzo
don't buy new pads just put them in the oven and don't scrub just pour the boiling hot water on the disc then ride around with your front brake on thanks SAMI really wouldn't advise this, I did this once and later on in the week the pad cracked and fell apart (the brake material). Not exactly linked to the heat factor...but it seems pretty logical that it could have been.
