I-LUV-TRIALS
Hi i have recently perchased a zoo pitbul 26" mod, but one of my friends has told me that the back wheel may not be very strong as the spokes in the back wheel are closer together than on a normal stock with a 135mm spacing?, is this true?thanks, adam. GTF
As far as I know, no one with this frames (and wheels) dont got any trouble with them.
I-LUV-TRIALS
Help guys, im a bit worried as to how strong my back wheel is and what i can do about it?
Ben Cox
it will be fine!!! the flanges are the same width apart (the bits on the shell where the spokes go) tis just the axle thats shorter making it stronger Ben
kieldp
I wouldn't worry about as they probably wouldn't make the bikes with 115mm spacing if it did compromise the strength of the rear wheel... If it breaks, it breaks.
I-LUV-TRIALS
Thanks guys i was just abit unsure as to weather i should keep an eye on it or buy a frame with 135mm spacing and sell mine with 116mm spacing.adam
Mike Beck
if anything there stronger because they dont have to be dished meaning that the spokes are more in line with the flanges making it possible for a better build. Thats why pro 2's and dengs hubs have a small drive-shell, so that the wheel doesn't have to be dished as much/at all.cheers lewis
