David
Hey, we just got a new 19" widescreen TFT monitor and the fonts all look a bit weird and fuzzy instead of sharp and clear...Ive had a play with the resolutions and cant seem to get much difference.. The tesxt looks a bit smudged around the edges. Is there a setting or something I could play with? Thanks, dave
David
Ive got it in 1280x1024 at the moment...also its hurting my eyes a bit, I think that could be because im not used to the size but it seems a little bright (obviously I can adjust the brightness)

Fixed Pantsâ„¢
My sisters (now mine) TFT screen used to be like this, normally i just press 'A' or auto adjust and it sorts it.
Simon
100% not. Mines a normal 17" and its that. When you change the size in desktop properties it shows you a blue box of the size change, and if it looks widescreen, try it. Your running a normal 4:3 resolution on a widescreen tft.Turn it upto the max your display allows e.g. 1280x800, 1440x900, 1680x1050, 1920x1200
