Onza Kieron
The superlight seems to be a lightweight version of the normal Kool, so, It will most likely be weaker but lighter, i'd say stick with the normal Kools...

Trebor
Aren't they just designed for different disciplines? The fat one, 1 1/8 (?), for h-core BMX, the other for gears on a mountain bike 3/32 (?). Both fit the bill as far as trials is concerned.Unless they've brought out another version of the kool. GTF
are these chains any good. they do a gold colour one too and is this much better? They suck!!! Found a cheap chain at my LBS and that were better.
Shaun H
Dan Ko has been using one for a few months and he hasn't had any problems...I wouldn't touch one myself, but it would seem they're not totally dangerous.
robonatomz
as with most chains a lot of the strength depends on how well they are joined, i allways use kmc kool on my 26"and and havent snapped one. i keep em on for a year or more too.i recently changed to a half link chain on my 20" think its really good, as strong as the kmc, but with better adjustment for chain tention witch is somthimes a drama on 20", allso it looks pretty too!rob

JT!
they meant to be the same strength...How can that be possible?Less material, less weight, same material.

Greetings
A chain apart from the hub is the second thing you don't want to save weight and money on in a trials bike. Just get a KHE chain, mine's been used in 8 different bikes throughout the past 19 months, hasn't snapped once.
