jonny_smith
how good are koxx blues? Tarty say they are made for wet condition but work ok in the dry but would it be better to get koxx browns??thanks
tom 20
it depends on the grind you have.. onza citrus pads work really well on smooth rims and light grinds, otherwise koxx browns are brill on a medium grind and have a great wear life
elektrokid
i'm not running any grind on my back rim and i've got some koxx browns, they are excellent even without a grind.
*BOOTHY*
Hi run koxx blues on the back with a harsh grind and they work really well and mine have lasted me quite a while. Koxx browns are supposed to be ok but don't have as good bite as blues.Jack
powerz
currently have have koxx browns on the back and with a harsh grind they were awesome but i have recently got a new wheel and done a lighter grind and now they dont seem to have that much bite.also they have lasted me over 5 months and i ride every day, so i guese it depends on what sort off grind you have, (i wouldn't recomend using koxx browns on a smooth rim) Edited December 27, 2006 by powerz

Ash-Kennard
browns are good on anything for some reason, really good pads, but they last so long that the backings just die.reds, goodyellows, goodblues, god like, very good pads in all weather but dont last anywhere near as long as the browns

Dan6061
Cheer up guys..it was christmas. Koxx Blues - I have some on't back at the moment. They're amazing. Basicaly.Similar to my old Plaz' CRM's, but better? Lots of lock, bit of modulation. Currently being ran on a worn out grind, with a little bit of tar to keep them squeaking. monty-adam
Hey,I ran Koxx blues on the back for a year and a half on a smooth rim, they had a good bite in all weather conditions, but i recently bought a new pair and ground my rim, this improved the bite immensly,i was also caught in the rain and this did not make much difference to the bite!!! Although i have only used zoo! pads and standard magura one's! out of those 3 koxx blue have been the best in my opinion
